Construction Documents detail the architectural designs and respective engineering designs of a project. They are used for bidding and building structures and for site development. Construction drawings and specifications are part of construction documents. Bidding documents, and procurement documents can also be a part of this document set.
Permitting Documents
Permitting documents are the basic information that a jurisdiction requires to approve construction. They are typically not as in depth as construction documents, hence the difference in nomenclature and typically, price.
